Nada Hafez, Egyptian fencer, revealed that she was seven months pregnant after the Round of 32 triumph at the Olympic Games 2024
Every Olympics is memorable for something. Reasons are usually related to results, achievements, world records, outstanding victories, and painful losses. However, sometimes, there are things that don't have much to do with sports per se but still leave a mark and stay in people's memories years after.

After five days, we already have a story that probably won't be the greatest highlight of this year's Olympics, but it will be remembered for the most beautiful reason you can imagine. Paris 2024 will forever remain etched in one woman's memory - not because of her fantastic result or a medal, but because she competed carrying a baby in her stomach!
Nada Hafez from Egypt participated in the fencing tournament, although seven months pregnant - and won! After triumphing over Elizabeth Tartakovsky from the USA in the Round of 32, the proud mother-to-be announced wonderful news on her Instagram.
"What appears to you as two players on the podium, they were actually three! It was me, my competitor & my yet-to-come to our world, little baby! My baby & I had our fair share of challenges, be it both physical & emotional. The rollercoaster of pregnancy is tough on its own, but having to fight to keep the balance of life & sports was nothing short of strenuous, however worth it. This specific Olympics was different; Three times *Olympian* but this time carrying a little Olympian one!" wrote Hafez, who lost her Round of 16 duel, but we're sure nothing could spoil her joy.
